How to Make Clean Water When the Flood

 

Clean water is a major problem when the flood came. Prepare yourself if you are a flood-prone area.
Here are some alternative ways to get clean water during floods, as quoted from the FDA, Thursda.

 

 

 

1 . Create your own water
Filter turbid water using a clean cloth and prepare a water bottle that was not flooded . But for drinking water , if there are no bottles available , you can boil water , then can store in a clean container .
Prepare a clean container , create clean water drops by 8 teaspoon of bleach is not harmful ( bleach ) to 1 gallon of water .
2 . Prepare equipment to make water clean
Prepare equipment to make clean water as needed like a sieve , household bleach ( bleach ) that does not contain fragrance , liquid iodine , chlorine or other disinfectant equipment for the purpose .
3 . Do not forget to set up packaged drinking water
If you and or family insisted to stay at home and do not evacuate , you also need to prepare a bottled water just in case when there is no more water is obtained .
4 . Take advantage of rain water or other water sources
If you can not get clean water , maybe you can use rain water or other water sources . Prepare for a lot of containers that collect rain water and filtered water as much as possible until clean , then you can use .
