Making Your Own Compost

The best way to control our own household waste is to convert it into compost. This fertilizer is made from organic materials and the manufacturing process is not too complicated because it does not require extensive space, lots of equipment, and costs. Useful compost to improve soil structure, plant nutrients required will be available. Microbes present in the compost will help the absorption of nutrients that plants need. Land will become more loose. Plants are fertilized with compost will grow better. The results are grown flowers, a beautiful and shady yard. Eve to be fresh because of the oxygen generated by plants.

 
  Composting
Materials needed :
1 . Tubs or old plastic drum2 . Burlap or woven bamboo3 . Soil or paving blocks
How to make :
Mix one part green waste ( organic waste ) and one part brown waste ( manure waste ) in the tub or drum which is covered underneath the soil or paving blocks and has a hole so that excess water can seep into the ground .Add a layer of soil, mix . Let the soil microbes active in the work process waste into compost .Repeat the process again for the first and the second subsequent layers . Drum lid or plastic tub with burlap or woven bamboo . This process can also be done once every two days .After seven days , open and stir the compost . After it closed again . Perform this process every seven days.To speed up composting , bio - activator can be added in the form of a solution of effective microorganism ( EM ) which can be purchased at the farm store .After 4-6 weeks , if the fertilizer mix colored black , and has no smell garbage anymore , meaning the composting process is complete .Sift and separate the rough , if necessary . Coarse compost can be mixed into a tub of composting as an activator .
